We have recently developed stone plaster models based on our 3D printed-models. Silicone moulds are created from our 3D printed models, which are used to cast stone plaster models for painting. Due to the speed at which these can be produced, the price is considerably cheaper than 3D-printed models.

See below for pictures of our very successful test project, in which pupils from three mixed-year classes each painted their own model. Please note, this test project used standard plaster of Paris. While adequate for school use, we now use denser 'Stonecast' powder.
Year 5 & 6 Class - Cheddar Gorge, Somerset.
Year 3 & 4 Class - Lundy Island (habour and surrounding area).
Year 1 & 2 Class - Brean Down, Somerset. The model is of the end section of this limestone 'whaleback' headland.
